ph43 gave a talk at Passive Buildings Canada’s “Boots on the Ground” event in Kitchener, ON. “Boots on the Ground” is a wonderful informal gathering of Passive House builders, designers, engineers, architects and enthusiasts where 20 minute talks are given regarding real world experience and scenarios. I’ve always found it to be an amazing event for all things Passive. The BOG was started in Toronto by Greg Labbe many moons ago as a casual gathering of around 10 people which has grown into a Multi-city powerhouse Passive House event under the direction of Passive Buildings Canada! I was truly honoured to be given a chance to speak at their first event in Kitchener which broke all attendance records to date! My talk entitled “Perks and Pitfalls of Passive House Prefab” is a case study of two builds (Ballyronan & Bay Beach) we conducted using pre-fabricated wall systems. Here’s a link to the talk below:
